Position: Kindergarten Teacher (incorporating a Bush Kindy program)

Description:
We are looking to employ a long term, enthusiastic, professional, caring, motivated, fully qualified Educator who is not afraid to get dirty in our Bush Kindy Program . If you are inspired by Reggio Emilia, Steiner or just have a general love for educating children in a natural environment then we could be just what you are looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Day to day operations of the Kindergarten class
- Delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational Kindergarten program
- Delivery of a high quality inclusive Bush Kindy Program
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with our Employee Guidelines, Philosophy and Policies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Public Safety Business Agency
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework including National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Educational and Care Services National Regulations 2011
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with purpose with parents, service and stakeholders to achieve goals
- An ability to interpret curriculum documents
- Possess highly developed problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
What we offer:
- $57,000 to $70,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) plus superannuation contributions
- 6 weeks paid holidays per year (includes Christmas & New Year period)
- 8:30am – 4:30pm set shift
