Johanna Street ELC is one Long Day Care Service with two child care centres. Both centre's playgrounds are aesthetically unique with interesting and physically challenging equipment. Visiting each others playgrounds encourages the children to make new friendships and also allows them to experience different play environments.
Hundreds of trees are planted throughout the grounds including gum trees for future koala habitat. Nesting boxes for birds and possums are placed in native trees. Solar power is helping to reduce our carbon footprint. Children's food scraps are feed to the resident animals. Native bees help with the pollination of the crops in the veggie patches.
